Lesson/Unit Plans-
All lesson plans written by Lyndsey Warren meet the National Standards of Art and are interdisciplinary with core subject matter. Lesson plans are designed for a fifty minute to one hour long classtime but can be customized by the customer to fit their needs. All lesson plans are copyrighted to L.Warren and Shadow Horse Studios LLC.
IWB (Promethean/Smartboard) Lesson Plans-
Advancements in technology are occuring within an eye blink these days, and nowhere is this more true than in the field of education. The use of Interactive White Board (IWB) technology can now be found in many schools classrooms across the world and that number grows exponentially each year.
As an art educator I had found myself growing very dissappointed in the lack of art lessons available for the Promethean Board. When asked to teach a workshop on Promethean Technology to my art education colleagues this year, I created my first totally custom made Promethean Board lesson complete with illustrations and animations. The process to develop this one lesson took me 12 hours-that is a lot of time to make a highly engaging uniquely one-of-a-kind lesson. What teacher has the time to develop all of the lesson she teaches? Suddenly with the success of that lesson I realized there is a potential market ready and waiting to be tapped!
It is my goal to offer top quality fully illustrated and additionally many animated lesson plan units focusing on art education. Each lesson I create has been thoroughly researched and utilized within my own classrooms to veryify whether they are successful enough to be fully develope into the lesson you see here. All lessons are written to National Art Standards!
Many hours go into the designing and implementation of these lessons and are published here only when I feel satisified they meet my expectations.
