Mirror Mirror
on the wall
You reflection does not lie
Pink flesh turns black to blue,
then taking on a purplish hue,
itchy stitches run their course
hard pain’s tears cry her throat hoarse
blue eyes won’t greet the mirror
reflecting the scar-she the bearer
the ugly truth an imperfect terror
beautifully
unbeautiful
unbeautiful
beautifully
thoughts tucked below
the horizon of her mind
dance like skeletons
the mirror always there to torment and remind
mirror mirror
what is it you see when you look at me?
Mirror mirror
you cannot see me on the inside
beautifully
unbeautiful
unbeautiful
beautifully
the reflection is all anyone will ever see
unless they get to know me
unless they get to know me
