Lesson Calendar and Pricing
All lessons are customizable and can be tailored to each student's or group's needs. Please make sure to state whether you would like regular fine art lessons or interdisciplinary art lessons.
Fine Art Lessons-are traditional art lessons that are tailored to meet the needs of all who want to better their art skills whether in painting, drawing, watercolor/ink, sculpture, digital photography, graphic design, etc. These are offered to the beginner through advanced art student. These lessons are designed with the older student and adult in mind.
Interdisciplinary Lessons- are lessons designed as a creative approach to enhancing an academic area of weakness that a child maybe struggling with, whether it be Language Arts, Reading, Writing, History, Science, or Mathematics. Lyndsey will create an art lesson that directly correlates with an area of academic weakness a child is struggling with. I recommend these lessons options for longer sessions as the core platforms of these lesson build on sequences stages of skills combined with art and academic knowledge. Think of it as Tutoring with a Touch of Art!

Lyndsey Warren - professional artist and illustrator- has been teaching art for over 10 years. She holds a BFA with a focus in children's book and scientific illustration from The Hartford Art School with a minor in Photography and Art History. She received her MAT/MFA from The Maryland Institute College of Art where her focus was Art Education with a second focus in Painting.

Please call 540.822.5690 to schedule your time. Please have a first and second choice option in mind as times fill up quickly. Group packages are ideal for home school children who need not only a creative outlet but a social one as well! I do accept small groups of Boyscouts/Girlscouts who are working on their creativity badges.
Lesson rain dates and make-ups will be made up on Mondays, Fridays, or Saturadays (schedule permitting).
Please be advised that due to the nature of freelance work I do, lessons may need to be moved or rescheduled, I just never know when the next big photo shoot or illustration project will come my way :) I will do my best to accommodate all my students and their schedules.

In order for your student to get maximum use of our time together I ask that they arrive promptly and ready to jump right into class. I don’t allow kids to consume food during art since art materials and foods don’t mix well.
Occassionally I will invite other local professional artists to come talk with my students and show them examples of their work. Sometimes these guest artist will even create a small activity to do with the child.
National Standards and My Art Curriculum-
Instead of handing out a newsletter periodically I will email one to parents of students. Please make sure you fill out your email address on your registration form. If you don’t have email I will make sure and print you out a hard copy. I’m just trying to save a few trees along the way ;)
The Art Exhibits- I am planning on asking local small businesses to participate in art exhibits. This will be especially great for homeschooled children who normally do not have access to such opportunities.
